This template is based on the the recommended JUNOS EX SNMP monitoring settings per Juniper. It is not meant to be all inclusive, simply to implement best practice. In addition to straight counters I added horizontal lines based on Juniper's recommendation for key thresholds.
- EX-2200C switches do not support temperature via SNMP per Juniper docs
- Tail drops are a tricky setting as they are per interface and I'm not motivated enough to write a data query for them. To successfully use this data source you need to edit the template “Juniper EX - Tail Drops” and replace the second to last octet (528) with whatever the interfaces you wish to monitors SNMP ifIndex is.
- All other data templates are based on having a single routing engine hence the last four octets are ”.220.127.116.11” as I'm not definitely not motivated enough to write a query for multiple routing engines. If you have more than one you need to add a bunch more templates incrementing the second octet “1”, see Juniper KB11437.
If somebody is motivated enough write a data query to allow people to select the interface for the tail drops and upload. Ditto for multiple routing engines and the other data sources.
