Purpose

Allows Cacti Administrators to optimize performance of their Cacti systems by taking the hard work our of analyzing their MySQL Slow Query logs.

Features

Easy import feature Analysis by Query Type Analysis by Table Name Detailed View of Queries by Table

Prerequisites

PIA 2.x is required.

You must turn on MySQL Slow Query Logs and have a threshold that is reasonable.

You must also make sure your Web server can upload files of whatever size are being produced by your query logs

There are two PHP.INI variables that control the size of you file uploads. They are 'upload_max_filesize', and 'post_max_size'. Both of these variables must be set, and the Apache server restarted to upload large files.

Installation

Like any other PIA 2.x plugin.

Usage

Strait forward. You upload your MySQL Slow Query Log, specify the tables that are of interest, and upload and analyze away.
